Kennedy Laylon
Kennedy Laylon (she/her), is a documentarian from Syracuse, NY. She’s worked on the award winning student documentary First Name Basis (2023) as well as Birds in the Sea (2024), a cross-cultural documentary short filmed in Korea. She’s an upcoming senior at Ithaca College and is completing a major in Documentary Studies and Production and a minor in English. Kennedy loves making films that are both inspiring and impactful, and takes any opportunity she has to learn from the vast experiences her documentaries take her in.

Ye Hang Yeo
Ye Hang (he/him) is a filmmaker from Singapore, specializing in documentaries. He has worked on the award-winning student documentary First Name Basis (2023) and is now working on When I’m in the Water (2024) as a junior at Ithaca College, double majoring in Documentary Studies & Production and World Languages & Cultures. Ye Hang is especially drawn to making films that inspire, impact and put a smile on the audience’s faces, aiming to engage the heart rather than just the eyes in all of his works. A fan of photography, his self-portrait work was featured in a juried exhibition at the Roy H. Park School of Communications. An avid fan of sports, Ye Hang trains as a competitive fencer back in Singapore and is also a huge fan of soccer, he also enjoys practicing piano. Ye Hang is able to speak three languages.

Olivia Wood
Olivia Wood (she/her), is a senior at Ithaca College, originally from Massachusetts, specializing in documentary filmmaking. She is the producer and co-director of When I’m in the Water (2024) and has a personal connection to this film, having spent her childhood summers on Cape Cod. She was inspired to highlight a group of women who are deeply committed to preserving its environment. She believes in the transformative power of the natural world to foster mental and emotional well-being, a theme she explored in her previous documentary With Every Cast There's Hope (2021), a film on how fly fishing can provide relief for individuals struggling with addiction and PTSD. In her free time, Olivia enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, and immersing herself in the outdoors, which continuously inspire both her creative projects and personal life.

Michael Crater
Michael Crater (he/him) is a documentarian from Minnesota. He is a senior at Ithaca College pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Documentary Studies and Production. As a passionate environmentalist who enjoys spending time outdoors, Michael aspires to educate people on environmental issues and share stories of people's relationships with nature and outdoor recreation through documentary films.

Amen Ng
Amen Ng (he/him) is a sophomore Documentary Studies major at Ithaca College, originally from Hong Kong. Specialising in street & documentary photography, his passion for travelling has taken him to many culturally diverse corners of the world, inspiring him to document unique stories and share them with his audience.
